How the imaginary paperwork works

Ten answers, no account

Each round selects ten questions from a larger collection. Easy questions open the file; stranger scenarios appear toward the end. After each answer a character reacts. Continue whenever you are ready, including while a voice is speaking.

Personality, with no qualifications

Answers contribute playful signals such as planning, digital distraction, and chaos. Those signals select a fictional archetype. The countdown combines game points with bounded random variation. Different answer patterns tend toward different numbers, and retakes can change the result.

No demographic data, medical data, actuarial tables, or scientific life expectancy models are used. This is not a medical, psychological, financial, insurance, retirement, or life-planning tool.

The fictional clock

The game uses 12 fictional months per year, 4 weeks per fictional month, 7 days per week, and 24 hours per day. These are tidy game units, not calendar arithmetic. The result is a snapshot, not a ticking deadline or predicted date of death.

Sound is optional

Mute, volume, and caption preferences are remembered on your device when storage is available. If audio fails, the reaction remains readable and you can keep going. The background ambience is optional and starts only after interaction.
